Process & Oxy Valve Technician
Location: Unanderra. 40‐hour week, 7am to 3:30pm with a market‐aligned salary, bonus incentive program and annual salary reviews.
Responsibilities
* Complete mechanical fitting tasks: testing, cleaning, stripping, assessing, repairing, painting, packaging and dispatching process and oxy valves and actuators.
* Conduct in‐process inspections to ensure products meet quality and contractual standards.
* Maintain tools, equipment and calibrated measuring instruments.
* Prepare required documentation, timesheets and reports accurately.
* Inspect incoming and outgoing goods and coordinate deliveries.
* Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental requirements.
* Collaborate with internal teams and customers.
Qualifications
* Mechanical trade qualification (Fitter, Turner & Machinist, Light Vehicle or Plant Mechanic).
* Experience in a similar mechanical fitting role.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail.
* Safety‐first mindset and understanding of relevant codes and standards.
* Effective communication and customer‐service skills.
* Current Australian driver's licence (ClassC).
* Team‐oriented approach and positive, can‐do attitude.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks within a workshop and high‐risk industrial environment.
