Overview of the Role
This is a full-time role for an experienced Scaffolding Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates. You will play a key part in winning new work and ensuring profitable project delivery. Reporting closely with management and project teams, you'll review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to provide cost-effective solutions. The role offers autonomy, client interaction, and the chance to shape the success of upcoming projects.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
* Review project documentation, tender requests, and drawings to prepare accurate estimates.
* Calculate materials, labour, transport, and hire costs using square metre rates and project-specific data.
* Liaise with clients, supervisors, engineers, and suppliers to clarify scope and confirm accuracy.
* Prepare and submit detailed quotations and proposals within required timeframes.
* Maintain estimating spreadsheets, models, and pricing databases.

About the Ideal Candidate
Essential:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scaffolding Estimator.
* Strong understanding of Australian Kwikstage and modular systems (stairs, sheeting, containment).
* Knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and hire practices.
Desirable:
* Proficiency in Avontus for small in-house design builds.
* Tertiary or trade qualifications in construction or engineering.
* Strong negotiation and client-facing skills.
