Where Your Story Starts:
Due to recent business growth, we are excited to announce an opening for an enthusiastic, self-starting Forklift Driver / Storeperson at our Sydney Distribution Centre in Prospect, NSW.
This role prioritises manual picking (80% of the time) with forklift duties (20% of the time). You will be required to perform manual lifting/labour duties, and your primary responsibilities will include:
* Loading and unloading trucks
* Racking and manually picking orders (non-forklift work)
* General forklift duties
Working on the day shift, Monday to Friday, in a full-time position. Standard hours for this role are 7am – 3pm or 6am – 2pmwith occasional overtime. You will be paid in accordance with our EBA and the starting level will be $32.52 per hour + penalty rates for overtime.
The Role You'll Play:
We are seeking a people-focused, safety-minded individual to join our leading business in a pivotal role.
The ideal candidate will have:
* An LF Forklift licence (required) with a minimum of 12 months experience loading and unloading trucks
* Willingness to perform manual lifting and picking duties
* Experience with oversized/non-standard pallet-sized goods
* Ability to work autonomously
* Strong customer service skills
* Physical fitness, as manual lifting is involved
* Exceptional awareness of workplace safety
