Responsibilities
* Working in a close-knit team – you will use your experience in managing multiple purchasing categories to analyse trends, prepare tender documents and manage supplier performance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
* You'll be analytical – with a strong attention to detail you will analyse data and forecasts to manage and optimise inventory and costs within assigned categories.
* You'll be systems based – you have strong computer skills with ERP system exposure and experience in drawing out critical data.
* You'll be proactive – thinking two steps ahead you will maintain raw material supplies to support production and ensure inventory targets are achieved.
* You'll adapt to change – thinking on your feet, you will adapt to changing situations calmly to ensure operations run smoothly.
* You'll be a strong negotiator – using your great communication and relationship building skills, you will work with supplies and key stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
Previous experience in purchasing within FMCG environment will be highly regarded.
