Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Head Chef to build and lead an inspired team of hospitality professionals. This role will report to the General Manager and work closely with our Portfolio Director of Food and Beverage, with responsibilities including leading the smooth day-to-day operation within the Kitchen Team and ensuring our Hop & Huddle standards are maintained and continually developed.
What will you be doing?
Leading, inspiring, and developing team members through guidance and a hands-on approach;
Training kitchen staff on menu execution, techniques, and HACCP standards;
Contributing to menu planning and execution;
Controlling food and wage costs to stay within budget;
Assisting in event planning and execution;
Ensuring high-quality products through menu knowledge, portion control, and preparation techniques;
Implementing hotel and department regulations, policies, and procedures;
Providing menu information to the events and floor teams for guest assistance;
Staying informed on industry trends and dietary developments;
Training staff on food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance standards.
