Overview
As the Senior Business Analyst – Spatial Systems, you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for coordinating the research, planning, development, and implementation of GIS tools and data modelling processes, carrying out reviews and analysis of business processes for developments, providing support for research and identifying new technologies and systems to ensure the continuous effectiveness of divisional systems, and assisting with planning organisational and work-flow changes necessary to support these systems.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate research, planning, development, and implementation of GIS tools and data modelling processes.
* Carry out reviews and analysis of business processes for developments.
* Provide support for research and identify new technologies and systems to ensure ongoing effectiveness of divisional systems.
* Assist with planning organisational and workflow changes to support GIS systems.
* Utilize project management skills and knowledge of the Mining Act.
* Use GIS software to produce high-quality Geoscience Tenement Land Information map and dataset products.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Project management experience.
* Knowledge of the Mining Act.
* Experience using GIS suites of software.
* Ability to produce Geoscience Tenement Land Information map/dataset products.
