An opportunity has arisen for a
Senior Associate
or
Special Counsel
to join our leading
Life Insurance practice. The team acts for most Australian life insurers in every Australian state and territory, so there is flexibility for this role to be based anywhere in Australia. Led by two highly regarded Partners, the team acts in disputes involving the full spectrum of life products including income protection, TPD and critical illness. This position will see you taking instructions and providing initial advice, drafting pleadings, liaising with clients, insurers and other lawyers, negotiating outcomes, reviewing and advising on policy and attending to all stages of the litigation process.
About you To be successful in this position, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ PAE (up to Special Counsel level invited to apply), and prior experience working in a defendant life insurance litigation practice.
