Senior Lawyer Job Description
We are seeking experienced Senior Lawyers with strong attention to detail and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality legal advice across a range of areas, including administrative law, commercial law, employment law, integrity, and litigation.
* Prepare submissions and make recommendations to support statutory decision-making under national regulatory frameworks.
* Deliver legal advice on legislative and policy matters relevant to operational requirements.
* Undertake legal research and contribute to internal training on relevant legal topics.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Law degree from an Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) and admission as a legal practitioner in a Supreme Court of a State or Territory.
* Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Administrative law, Commercial law, Employment law, Integrity and litigation.
* Strong decision-making and judgement in delivering legal advice.
* Well-developed skills in legal research, document review, and drafting.
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
