 
        
        Drone Forge is seeking an IT Support Technician with a strong focus on network and ICT systems to support both our internal operations and project delivery. This role sits at the intersection of business IT support and project-based technology deployment, ensuring our communication networks, systems, and infrastructure operate reliably and securely.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across business and project networks, systems, and ICT infrastructure.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Set up and support ICT systems for ongoing projects, including field-based deployments.
- Monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity issues, and implement timely solutions.
- Support end users with hardware, software, and access requirements across multiple platforms.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and support processes.
- Implement and enforce ICT security policies, ensuring data integrity and system compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust IT and network solutions for drone and automation projects.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in IT support with a focus on network/ICT systems.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments, cloud systems, and enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication skills for internal stakeholders and external project clients.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to support project deployments.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Odoo, Office 365, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with ICT support for field-based operations, robotics, or IoT systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and network security best practices.
- Exposure to drone or unmanned system technologies (advantageous).
