We have a role available for a highly organised and customer-focussed Housing Officer to be based in Dubbo and provide a broad range of tenancy and property management services for a portfolio of Social and Affordable homes.
Specific responsibilities will include conducting lease sign-ups, routine inspections, ensuring all information in our system is up-to-date, following up any client enquiries, complaints or other issues, and maintaining close contact with clients whilst providing exceptional customer service.
The Housing Officer will also work closely with the Support Coordinator to ensure our clients are receiving appropriate support to sustain their tenancies.
To be successful, you will ideally have experience in tenancy and property management and/or community services. Knowledge of the residential tenancies act is highly desirable.
You must have excellent administrative, planning and organisational skills, a high degree of initiative, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and strong problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills in difficult circumstances, including dealing with distressed tenants.
You will also need a current drivers licence, ability to obtain a Police Check and Working With Children Check.

This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The Housing Officer is classified as a Level 4.1 under the SCHADS Award, which equates to $88,327 gross per annum. This will increase on an annual basis in line with the pay points in the Award. As Housing Plus is a Not for Profit organisation, we have access to excellent salary sacrifice options to increase your take home pay
