Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook dishes in line with Yaya's Mediterranean-inspired menu
* Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of food at all times
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
* Manage kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene standards
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
* Follow all food safety guidelines and workplace health & safety policies
* Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook in a busy kitchen
* Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
* Formal culinary qualifications preferred (Cert IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent)
* Passion for Greek/Mediterranean cuisine
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
