We are currently looking for an experienced Shutdown Planner to join the team of a Tier 1 Mining Company with operations in the Pilbara and Port Hedland. The core responsibilities of this position include:
* Planning major shutdowns scheduled at their port facility
* Transition of notifications to work orders
* Task list creation and cataloguing
* Scope challenge facilitation
* Maintenance plan optimisation
* Master data updates.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
* Strong background in fixed plant maintenance planning in mining
* Solid understanding of port materials - balanced machines, conveyors, screens crushers etc
* Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Knowledge of SAP and MS Project
This position is offered on a 6-month contract initially with potential to extend. 5:2 roster with 2 days on site and 3 days based in Perth. Hourly rate $95 + per hour based on experience. Start date mid-January 2026
