We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in rural Queensland, working in a multidisciplinary environment, providing exceptional therapy services to meet the needs of our communities.
About the Position:
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of rural access to allied health services, working in a person-centered approach to therapy, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering hands-on therapy to advance motor skills, coordination, balance, and mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement therapy plans for various needs, including paediatrics, home modifications, vocational rehabilitation, disability, neurological rehabilitation, and aged care.
* Collaborate with allied health professionals and local primary healthcare teams to achieve client goals.
* Provide services under various government schemes, including the NDIS, DVA, WC, Medicare, PHN, Checkup, and Aged Care Packages.
* Actively participate in weekly multi-disciplinary case conferences for complex NDIS clients.
