About the ProjectLocated in the Top End region of the Northern Territory, this fully permitted gold project hosts a defined JORC Resource and significant exploration targets yet to be unlocked.If you enjoy the challenge of searching, mapping and revealing untapped potential — this project offers the terrain, scale and opportunity to do exactly that.
The RoleReporting to the GM Geology, you will become a key contributor across multiple exploration and drilling workstreams, including:
* Supervising RC and diamond drilling programs
* Geological & geotechnical logging (RC chips and oriented core)
* Prospect mapping and soil/rock‑chip sampling
* Daily reporting and drill planning support
* QA/QC oversight and data integrity management
* Mentoring and leadership of junior geologists
* Driving and championing strong safety practices
This position suits someone with solid exploration experience who is ready to step into — or further develop — genuine leadership responsibility.
What You’ll Bring
* Degree in Geology (BSc or equivalent)
* 5+ years’ experience in exploration or mining geology (gold preferred)
* Competence in RC and/or diamond core logging
* Field mapping and sampling experience
* Manual driver’s licence (Australia)
* Familiarity with geological modelling packages (Leapfrog, Deswik, Datamine)
* A proactive, adaptable and team‑focused work style
* Prior supervisory or mentoring experience is beneficial.
