Job Role:
We are seeking a full-time Accreditation Specialist to join our Brisbane or Melbourne office. The successful candidate will be initially trained in assessing laboratories within the Life Science sector, with future opportunities for upskilling in other areas.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead Assessments: Organise, lead and conduct assessments of laboratories against ISO/IEC 17025 criteria.
* Technical Expertise: Conduct assessments at client facilities with technical expert support.
* Reporting: Prepare technical reports and address follow-up matters arising from assessments.
* Client Management: Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
* Communication: Respond to client enquiries.
* Criteria Understanding: Develop strong understanding of accreditation criteria.
* Policy Advice: Provide advice on NATA's policies and technical requirements.
Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification in Science or Applied Science, with relevant postgraduate experience.
* Knowledge of management system principles and quality assurance activities.
* A proven ability to plan and deliver allocated activities.
* Demonstrated experience in client management and building effective relationships.
* A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Intermediate software application skills and willingness to learn new systems.
* A willingness to expand skill sets and competencies.
