This hands-on leadership role involves planning and deploying enterprise IT applications and systems to support business operations, onboard new clients, and enhance cost efficiency, service quality, and business continuity.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and deployment of TypeScript and JavaScript applications using React and Node frameworks.Guide technical design and architecture discussions to develop innovative solutions for complex problems.Drive the integration of AI technologies into business processes, proactively leveraging emerging tech for solutions.Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software development and DevOps/AWS.Communicate effectively with engineers and stakeholders, contributing to team goals.Work directly with clients to understand requirements, define solutions, and oversee delivery, adopting a hands-on approach.Enforce adherence to Agile methodologies and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.Manage the end-to-end development of applications from inception to production.Oversee support components of production applications.Manage international teams and oversee operations across different countries.CriteriaStrong knowledge of API creation and integration.Proficiency with the tech stack: TypeScript, React, Node frameworks, and PostgreSQL database.Experience leading technical design and architecture discussions for innovative solutions.Drive AI integration into business processes, demonstrating proactive tech adoption.Mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in DevOps/IaS on AWS, including setup of AWS Cloud services like Lambda and Kubernetes for containerization.Experience in minimizing cyber risks within development and DevOps practices.Desirable experience with integrating call center software/platforms, payment gateways, and SMS providers.Knowledge of file and transmission encryption.Experience managing compliance in PCI-DSS environments.Proven ability to work with clients to define and deliver solutions.Experience managing international teams and operations across countries.Ability to project manage multiple application development projects simultaneously, maintaining stakeholder communication.Experience managing operations for customer-facing applications.Background working in small, lean teams with non-technical stakeholders and in startup/scale-up environments.
