We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing general servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance of various vehicles in a well-equipped workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform full mechanical repairs and servicing including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering and electric/electronic system diagnostics and repairs.
* Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil and filter changes, fluid checks, tyre rotations, brake servicing, wheel alignment and general safety inspections.
Requirements
* A trade qualification in automotive mechanics (e.g. Certificate III or IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
* A minimum of 1-3 years working experience as a mechanic or technician in a busy workshop environment handling general repairs and maintenance for a variety of vehicle makes and models.
* Strong diagnostic skills, mechanical aptitude and familiarity with diagnostic and workshop tools/equipment.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
