About the role
Are you the superstar we’re looking for? Footprints Podiatry Tasmania is on the hunt for an amazing Reception/Administration person to join our dream team!
As a key part of our Support Team, you’ll keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, handling all things reception and providing admin support to our talented podiatrists.
If you know your way around shoes and have some shoe sales skills, that’s a huge bonus! We’d love someone who can assist our patients in finding the perfect fit—literally!
Think of yourself as the ‘face’ of Footprints—you’ll be the first smile (and possibly the first laugh) that our patients see when they walk through the door.
Flexibility to work in Burnie or Ulverstone is a must, but don’t worry—we’ll cover your travel costs (and you’ll get a scenic Tasmanian drive out of it). You’ll need a driver’s license and your own car to get around.
* Rock-solid clerical skills
* Covid-19 prevention know-how
* A natural communicator (chatty, but in a good way)
* Team player with a capital T
* Quick-thinking problem-solver
* Attention to detail (because the small things matter!)
* Time management wizard
* Computer literacy (because tech is a part of everything we do)
* Experience handling clients (and their quirks)
* Managing patient records (keeping things up-to-date, correct, and neat and tidy)
* Familiarity with the healthcare world
* Handling EFTPOS and cash like a pro
* Banking and cash reconciliation (because numbers don’t lie)
* Knowledge of Medicare, HICAPS, private health insurance, and NDIS
* Shoe sales experience and knowledge—helping patients step up their game!
* Bonus points if you know your way around clinical sterilisation
