The Opportunity
We are looking for capable and driven Senior Civil Design Engineer with a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience to join our Brisbane Civil team. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical design, manage projects, and engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
You'll enjoy being mentored by respected industry professionals and possess the agility required to consistently deliver high-quality work across a diverse range of projects, including:
* Land Subdivisions
* Local Government Infrastructure & Urban Master Planning
* Stormwater, Flood Modelling & WSUD
* Aged Care, Childcare, Education and Retirement Living.
* Multi-Residential, Commercial & Industrial Developments
* Civil Contract Administration
* Construction surveillance and reporting for certification
Requirements for Success
* Attention to detail: you must be able to produce and review high-quality technical design documentation and modelling, develop competitive and accurate tenders and produce all manner of contract and technical reporting.
* An understanding of Project Management fundamentals, to ensure time, cost and quality objectives are successfully delivered
* Qualifications: minimum Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Engineers Australia-recognized) and RPEQ, NER, or CPEng accreditation (or working toward it)
* Experience: 7+ years' postgraduate experience incorporating civil design, contract administration and project management – ideally local experience in SEQ
* Communication: Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, confident stakeholder manager and outstanding client service provision
