About The Opportunity
Programmed Facility Management are seeking a PERMANENT Retail / Bar and Tavern Utility to join our Minesite Village Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well‐known Mining Company situated in the Mid‐West, WA.
Key Responsibilities
The Retail / Bar and Tavern Utility is primarily responsible for the responsible service of alcohol and sale of products to Residents (and Employees), maintaining a high level of customer service and cleanliness.
* Preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, water and coffee
* Maintaining the bar area, collecting and washing glassware
* Tapping kegs and cleaning beer lines
* Maintaining compliance with liquor regulations and workplace health and safety laws
* Liaising with the appropriate staff and security where an incident occurs
* Assist with the opening and closing of the bar and tavern, retail shop
* Provide product advice in a retail environment; increase retail sales, taking and handling payments for orders
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Assist other site departments, such as the Front Desk / Reception from time to time, if required
About You
To join our team, you will be an experienced and highly organized Retail / Bar and Tavern Utility, with a "can do" attitude, excellent attention to detail and passion for providing first‐class customer service. Additionally, a commitment to the safety of yourself and others, and a knack for people engagement.
* VALID C Class License
* Australian Working Rights
* Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre‐Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
* Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification
* Previous experience at a Village / Minesite
* Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
* Ability to multi‐task and assist across areas with a positive teamwork approach
* The following experience / qualifications with First Aid, Food Safety or Approved Manager (desirable)
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
* Advanced Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Payroll & Training requirements
* Ability to work in a Team; be a self‐motivator and take instructions
* Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast‐paced environment
* Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills
* Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
