Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive professional to manage export shipping from contract stage to delivery at destination port ensuring smooth efficient operations in compliance with requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Initiate container export shipping to meet Buyer requirements
* Monitor shipment progress resolve issues and minimise delays/costs
* Negotiate ocean freight rates and maintain relationships with shipping lines and service providers
* Co-ordinate with yards buyers and internal teams to manage end-to-end container export operations
* Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with customs and regulatory requirements
* Support the trading team with freight requests within and outside tender agreements
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Minimum 5 years experience in international container export shipping/logistics
* Strong understanding of ocean freight shipping documentation and customs processes
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
