Excellent opportunities have become available for highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in Plastic Surgical Nursing to join a dedicated perioperative team at a private hospital in Adelaide. There is an availability of full-time and part-time roles.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will serve as a positive role model to your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and promoting the ongoing development of staff, while ensuring the highest standards of patient-centred care are consistently delivered during surgical procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Working cohesively and with initiative within a multidisciplinary team;
* Educating junior staff within the specialty;
* Managing and organising Plastic Surgery requirements for the department, including equipment, instruments, loan sets, and implants;
* Delivering evidence-based, high-quality clinical nursing care;
* Liaising with management, key stakeholders, and all staff;
* Supporting management while positively embracing change and new initiatives;
* Working effectively within a team environment while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
REQUIREMENTS
* Current AHPRA registration;
* Minimum 5 years' recent theatre nursing experience;
* Previous experience working within a peri-operative environment, and/or surgical nursing;
* Sound understanding of relevant standards and legislation;
* Sound knowledge of ACORN standards / ACHS Accreditation Standards;
* Strategic-minded thinker;
* Ability to engage with all members of staff;
* Excellent communication style - written and verbal;
* Ability to meet deadlines;
* Work collaboratively with the management team;
* Proficient in electronic databases and the ability to adapt to changing platforms;
* Knowledge of labour management / KPIs.

REMUNERATION
Salaries range between $53.24 -$58.04 per hour.
