Find out more about patient stories in their own words here:ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Data Administrator/Medical Receptionist to work at our BreastScreen Service in Geelong.
Working 24 hours per week, across 3 days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.As the face of the company you will be providing high standards of services to our patients by maintaining accurate BreastScreen results and information that makes a difference in the most common cancer among females and the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia.
• Represent Lake Imaging as the first impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients.
• Answering incoming calls in a proficient, timely and professionally welcoming manner.
• Quality checking and processing of client and clinical information.
• Timely provision of BreastScreen results.
• Process, file and retrieval of confidential data generated by screening sites (BS1 QA, Abbyy verifications - BSV specific work).
• Image transfer to referring Doctor's and specialists.
• BreastScreen specific medical typing (training provided).
ABOUT YOU
• Medical Administration exposure
• Interpersonal skills in order to show patients care, compassion and empathy
• Understanding of medical imaging terminology
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a team
