The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks between both our Mountain View Retirement Village and our Banora Point Retirement Village. Working closely with the Community Managers, you will ensure our buildings & fixtures are well-maintained and presentable. The ideal candidate needs to be friendly, approachable to residents, have the ability to work autonomously and have general maintenance or "+handyperson+" experience. In this role, you will be working in a tight-knit community where you will thrive in making our community a better place for residents!
This recent opportunity is a Full time position working Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. This is a split role working Monday and Tuesday at Mountain View Retirement Village and Wednesday-Friday at our Banora Point Retirement Village.

Your Impact
- You will attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard
- Oversee maintenance work undertaken by Contractors within the community
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
- Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team!
- Please note - no electrical work is required as part of the role
What you will bring
- Experience in General Maintenance and 'Handyperson' roles (highly desired)
- A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
- Valid driver's licence (required)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
