We are currently seeking two Consultant Psychiatrists for urgent locum opportunities delivering mental health services across multiple correctional and forensic health sites. These roles offer a unique opportunity to work within a structured, multidisciplinary environment supporting a complex and high-needs patient cohort.
Start: ASAP | Duration: 3-month contracts | Hours: Full-time preferred | Shifts: Day shifts only | No weekends, public holidays, or on-call requirements | Engagement aligned with standard public health terms.
These services support individuals with complex mental health needs, often with overlapping forensic, psychosocial, and substance use considerations. The role offers exposure to a diverse caseload across:
* Short-stay assessment units
* Secure forensic inpatient settings
* Correctional centre-based mental health services
