The Role
We are seeking an experienced Management Consultant to support ClimatechZero's continued growth across industrial sectors.
This role combines strategic advisory, organisational analysis and client engagement to help industrial organisations improve energy productivity, operationalefficiencyand decarbonisation outcomes. The consultant works directly with client organisations to analyse operational systems,identify improvement opportunities and develop structured energy productivity programs that translate into implemented projects.
While the role includes identifying and developing new client opportunities, its primary function is advisory in nature — supporting organisations to analyse current operations, identify gaps and develop investment-grade solutions that deliver measurable results.
Working closely with clients and internal engineering teams, you will play a key role in translating technical and commercial complexity into structured recommendations and implementable programs.
Key Responsibilities
Organisational Analysis and Advisory
* Analyse client organisational structures, operational methods,systemsand governance frameworks toidentifyopportunities for improved energy productivity and operational efficiency.
* Conduct structured gap analysis across industrial facilities toidentifyenergy productivity,decarbonisationand operational improvement opportunities.
* Evaluate client infrastructure including utilities systems, assetperformanceand operating procedures todetermineimprovement potential.
* Assess organisational capability, decision-makingframeworksand stakeholder alignment to support successful implementation of improvement programs.
Strategy and Solution Development
* Develop structured recommendations and strategic roadmaps to improve energy productivity and reduce operational costs.
* Advise clients on solutions to organisational and operational challenges based on detailed analysis of current-state systems and processes.
* Work with internal engineering teams to translate opportunities into investment-grade proposals and technical solutions.
* Support development of Energy-as-a-Service, performance contracting and other commercial models that enable project delivery.
Client Engagement and Opportunity Development
* Build trusted advisory relationships with senior stakeholders across industrial organisations.
* Identifyand develop new opportunities to deliver energy productivity and decarbonisation programs.
* Lead client discussions,workshopsand presentations to communicate analysis findings and recommended strategies.
* Prepare proposals and recommendations outlining improvement opportunities, projectstructuresand expected outcomes.
Implementation Oversight and Continuous Improvement
* Support the transition from advisory and feasibility phases through to project implementation and delivery.
* Provide oversight to ensure recommended solutions are implemented effectively and deliver the intended operational and financial outcomes.
* Assistclient organisations inestablishinggovernance frameworks and improvement programs that enable sustained performance gains.
* Provide mentoring and guidance to client stakeholders to embed effective energy management and operational practices.

Your Experience
* Experience in management consulting, business advisory, energyconsultingor industrial services.
* Experience working with FMCG, manufacturing, industrial or energy-intensive organisations.
* Strong capability in organisational analysis, operational improvement and strategic problem solving.
* Experience developing business cases, investmentproposalsand improvement programs.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management capability.
* Ability to work collaboratively with technical engineering teams to develop implementable solutions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Engineering, Business, EnergySystemsor a related discipline.
* Postgraduate qualifications such as aMaster's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar are highly regarded.
* Extensive industry experience delivering industrial improvement, energyproductivityor operational optimisation projects.
