Job Overview
As a Caseworker for the Joint Child Protection Response Program, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and mitigating risks to children and young people within a multidisciplinary service framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive safety and risk assessments to safeguard vulnerable populations
* Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies to address safety concerns
* Engage in culturally sensitive practice that acknowledges and respects the unique circumstances of each child, young person, and their carers/family
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working in frontline statutory child protection services or investigation services is required
* Preferred qualifications include completion or enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Social Work, Social Science, or Welfare
