About The Role
Good Counsel College is seeking Casual School Officers (Learning Support) to join their Diverse Learning Team. A Certificate III in Education Support is desirable, and experience in inclusive education is highly regarded.
In this role, the School Officer (Learning Support) will work under the direction of the Diverse Learning Leader to provide efficient, high‐quality support tailored to meet the unique learning needs of individual students, and assist teachers in fostering an inclusive learning environment.
The Chosen Candidate Will Be Required To
* Provide one‐to‐one or small group student support
* Assist students to remain engaged and on task in learning activities
* Support student wellbeing, independence and social development
* Assist teachers with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
* Attend excursions and activities as required
* Support the Catholic ethos and values of the College
