This role plays a pivotal part in supporting families during emotionally sensitive times, ensuring every interaction is handled with empathy, professionalism, and accuracy. You'll be joining a collaborative team that values compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for families reaching out for support, listening carefully to their needs and responding with warmth, patience and professionalism.
* Accurately record and manage information to ensure all requests and arrangements are handled smoothly and efficiently.
* Handle sensitive and sometimes complex situations with discretion, empathy and sound judgment
* Work closely with Directors, Regional Managers, and other internal teams to coordinate services and provide a seamless experience for families.
* Maintain strong organisational practices, balancing multiple enquiries and tasks while meeting service standards and deadlines.
Skills & Experience Required
* Genuine compassion and empathy for families in need
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Resilience and maturity to manage sensitive and emotional situations
* Organised, detail-oriented, and confident using technology
* Ability to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
* Previous experience in customer service or contact centres, ideally in sensitive environments
