Australian Urology Associates (AUA) is a leading private urology practice. Our esteemed surgeons sub‐specialise in a wide range of urological conditions and are supported by a dedicated team of nursing, administrative, and research staff.
Due to growth, we have newly created a role available for a permanent part‑time Medical Receptionist to work 24 hours per week within our professional and supportive team.
Required days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:00/9:00am – 4:00/5:00pm. The ideal candidate would have flexibility to work additional days in times of heavier demand.
Our practice is located centrally in Malvern, with trams at the door and on‑site parking provided.
Responsibilities
* Assisting patients in person and over the phone
* Creating and updating medical records
* Preparation and running of consulting sessions
* Processing payments and Medicare/DVA claims
* Liaising with hospitals and other health services
* Surgical bookings and preparation of procedure paperwork

While prior experience in medical administration is an advantage, applications are encouraged from those who can demonstrate the above essential requirements. Comprehensive orientation and training will be provided.
