Job Overview
The Video Production Lead will oversee the development of multimedia content for customer stories, internal company announcements, external promotional social videos, marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training, and other department-wide projects.
This role leads high-quality digital and creative content production (video and photography content) for priority projects across the department. The Video Production Lead will work closely with colleagues, minister's offices, and relevant business areas within the department to use video and creative content to tell stories that demonstrate the benefits of government policies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all creative content is clear, engaging, and timely, and aligned to the department's digital strategy and strategic plan.
* Identify positive story opportunities for provision across digital media platforms, identifying risks and issues that may be contentious.
* Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) and work cross-functionally with other members of the branch to ensure the delivery of seamless and professional communications services for all areas of the department.
* Lead digital literacy and digital media integration by providing advice to colleagues on integrating digital and social media into communications strategies wherever relevant.
Accountabilities:
* Oversee the department's video projects and ensure they are in line with the Department of Health strategies.
* Provide authoritative advice and assistance to departmental staff, senior executives, and minister's offices on video, photographic, and audio production services.
* Edit, write, and develop engaging video content for use across department social media and digital channels in accordance with the content strategy and editorial plan.
* Scope, plan, develop, and manage production of major departmental digital media outputs, including video, graphics, and photography.
