Casual Facilities Team Leader Job Description


As a Casual Facilities Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of our operations. Your role will encompass conducting inspections, pursuing cost-saving measures, and supporting our kitchen and events services teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work in line with business needs
- Assist in monthly inspections
- Actively pursue cost-saving measures

People Skills:
- Assist chefs with food preparation and kitchen duties
- Help with the receiving and storage of goods
- Demonstrate the proper use of chemicals and assist other departments with their chemical needs

Guest Experience:
- Ensure that all crockery and cutlery are maintained and cleaned in accordance with HACCP guidelines
- Provide assistance to customers when necessary

Responsible Business Practices:
- Cooperate and partner with management in implementing workplace health, safety, and wellbeing-related initiatives
- Participate in investigations of injuries and illnesses arising from workplace activities and recommend corrective actions to prevent or minimize recurrence
- Facilitate the reporting of workplace hazards to those who can implement corrective actions
- Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Use safety and emergency equipment, plant materials, tools, and substances provided in the workplace as directed
- Report workplace hazards to the supervisor
- Report injuries or illnesses arising from workplace activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role is a plus
- Strong understanding of HACCP guidelines
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of PPE
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various departments
