Role responsibilities
As Procurement Manager, you will shape and improve our procurement operations, sourcing over 90% of ingredients from Australian producers. You will manage supplier relationships, optimize costs, and develop procurement strategies aligned with our sustainability and growth goals. Your role includes sourcing directly from producers, mitigating supply chain risks, and implementing best-in-class procurement systems.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and managing performance.
* Developing strategies to reduce costs and leverage purchasing power.
* Designing and implementing efficient procurement processes and systems.
* Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
* Analyzing procurement data and driving actionable insights.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies.
Requirements
* 5+ years in procurement, preferably in the food industry.
* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven ability in supplier management and contract negotiations.
* Experience in cost reduction strategies and data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent communication skills and experience with ERP systems (Netsuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
