About This Role
This is a unique opportunity for a talented planner to join our team as a Senior Statutory Planning Officer.
As a Senior Statutory Planning Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Statutory Planning team, including development control, process improvement, and providing guidance and support to junior team members.
You will be responsible for assessing and reviewing development and subdivision applications across a wide range of planning issues, utilizing your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide specialist technical advice and deliver high-quality customer service to both the community and the organization.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Assessing and reviewing development and subdivision applications
* Providing specialist technical advice and guidance to team members
* Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Statutory Planning team
What You Need To Succeed
* Strong knowledge of WA town planning principles and approval processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
* A degree in Urban and Regional Planning (or equivalent)
