We're looking for a Service Trade Assistant to join our dynamic John Deere team in Mackay. What You'll Be Doing
As a Service Trade Assistant, you will:
* Assist technicians with servicing and repairs on a variety of equipment.
* Help with basic mechanical tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and cleaning parts.
* Prepare tools, parts, and equipment for jobs and maintain workshop organisation.
* Support diagnostic and testing processes under supervision.
* Ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a safe working environment.
* Deliver excellent customer service and work collaboratively with team members
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
* Is mechanically minded and enjoys working with tools and machinery.
* Has a proactive attitude and willingness to learn on the job.
* Can follow instructions and work safely in a team environment.
* Holds a manual driver's licence (forklift licence highly regarded)
* Is reliable, solutions-focused, and ready to grow with us.
* No formal trade qualification required—just bring your enthusiasm and mechanical aptitude
