We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales / Storeperson for a temp-to-perm opportunity with an international manufacturer and wholesale distributor of air‑conditioning products. With 27 branches nationally and over 50 years in the industry, this organisation is a genuine market leader.
In this key position, you will work alongside another Counter Sales / Storeperson, providing outstanding customer service while supporting warehouse operations.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Managing counter sales and customer enquiries
* Handling incoming calls and responding to online enquiries
* Making outbound calls to customers
* Processing payments and completing sales transactions
* Monitoring and controlling stock levels
* Completing documentation relating to goods movement
This role offers excellent variety—while customer service is the primary focus, you won't be confined to the counter.
You will also assist with:
* Unpacking containers
* Picking, packing, and delivering orders
To be successful, you will need:
* A valid Class C driver's licence
* A friendly, positive attitude and a passion for customer service
