Job Description
Our Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit is seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to provide psychosocial rehabilitation supports and services to consumers. As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering recovery and assisting consumers to acquire and develop daily living skills.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing direct support to consumers in a culturally sensitive and inclusive manner
* Assisting consumers to prepare for living in the community and enjoy quality of life
* Supporting consumers to accomplish their rehabilitation and recovery goals
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A current First Aid Certificate (or the ability to obtain one)
* Demonstrated experience working with consumers with complex needs in a mental health setting
* Qualifications in Cert IV Mental Health or equivalent (well regarded)
* The ability to work collaboratively and cohesively within a multidisciplinary team

Delivering Quality Services
As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering non-discriminatory treatment and support that is sensitive to the social and cultural values of consumers and their families. This includes:
* Documenting relevant information in the consumer's electronic medical record and other forms of data collection as required
* Delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of consumers
