Job Summary:
This role entails ensuring all parts meet quality standards before product delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections of cleaning, wax vanes/struts, and final assemblies.
* Verify products against process technique cards and quality requirements.
* Utilize hand tools for visual inspection assistance.
* Perform Statistical Process Control calculations to determine dimension accuracy.
* Collaborate with Engineers to establish and test inspection techniques.
* Identify and resolve surface and dimensional defects in conjunction with Engineering.
* Maintain dimensional data integrity according to quality measures.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
* Diploma or equivalent education required.
* Successful completion of Certified Wax Inspector (CWI) program.
* Familiarity with dimensional tools and basic inspection techniques.
* Able to apply wax dimensional inspection techniques properly.
* Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to read precision hand tools.
* Strong organization and documentation skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This position requires frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee must stand, walk, climb, push, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly.
