There are 5 General Practitioners on site, plus a Skin Specialist 2 days per week and a psychologist once a fortnight. The practice has adequate on‐site parking, accessibility for persons with disabilities, toilets and child-friendly facilities.Position Description:Comprehensive medical care, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of multiple general medical presentationsProviding skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to patientsOrdering diagnostic tests as needed, checking and informing patients of results as per practice policies and proceduresReferring patients appropriately to other providers if their needs exceed the range of care you are able to provideConsulting and collaborating with colleagues to provide optimal careDocumenting all care provided and education/information given to patients within their health record, as per clinic procedureHaving a working knowledge of legislation and standards of General PracticeProviding services courteously and respectfully, with regard to the cultural beliefs and needs of patientsWorking constructively and harmoniously with all staff to ensure patients receive optimal careCollaborating in regard to rosters and providing cover to ensure patients' needs are metPosition Requirements:General registration with AHPRASpecialistAfter Hours Requirements: NoScholarship / Support: Following successful placement, eligible candidates may be entitled to receive support and financial assistance through Health Workforce Queensland's comprehensive workforce attraction and retention incentives.
