Senior System Support Engineer – High Performance Computing
This role requires on-site work from an HPE partner or customer office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for complex HPC systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* Act as a trusted advisor to customers and coordinate with support teams for problem resolution.
* Implement detailed technical design solutions.
* Develop enterprise solutions and lead technical assessments.
* Coordinate HPC installations, designs, and migrations.
* Provide technical consulting on proposals, system management, and tuning.
* Respond to technical inquiries and develop new methods for problem-solving.
* Create internal knowledge materials and proposals for small engagements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum TSPV Government Security clearance.
* Expertise in Linux/Unix, parallel file systems, networking, Python, and C++.
* Innovative, communicative, and capable of designing solutions to enhance HPC system performance and availability.
* Understanding of technological dependencies and ability to diagnose complex issues.
* Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience working in multi-technology environments and managing complex integrations.
