About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing strategic procurement activities in support of our submarine program and its supply chain.
The role involves leading the engagement with strategic suppliers, undertaking contracting and procurement activity at all levels, and defining and executing strategic sourcing strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience in a relevant Supply Chain role in a defence or manufacturing environment, and will have in-depth knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, and contracting principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage strategic procurement activities in support of our submarine program and its supply chain

Requirements
* Minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience in a relevant Supply Chain role in a defence or manufacturing environment
* In-depth knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, and contracting principles and best practices
* Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and other business value through the development and implementation of sourcing strategy and plans
