We are seeking a high‐calibre Investment Analyst to join our core investment team.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an analytically strong professional with hands‐on experience in real estate lending and commercial property. You will be directly involved in underwriting, structuring, credit assessment, and portfolio management across real estate debt and principal investment transactions.
You will work closely with senior team members, legal counsel, and external stakeholders, gaining end‐to‐end exposure to real estate transactions, from origination through execution and ongoing portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse and evaluate real estate lending and investment opportunities
* Build and review financial models, project feasibility, and cash flow forecasts
* Prepare investment committee materials, investor summaries, and information memorandum
* Assist with deal structuring, pricing, risk assessment, and credit approval
* Support due diligence, legal documentation, and transaction execution
* Monitor existing investments and ensure compliance with loan terms and covenants
* Contribute to portfolio reporting, origination and investor communications
Requirements
* Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights
* Degree in Law or Commerce with a strong academic record (80%+ preferred)
* 3+ years' experience in real estate private credit, audit, or direct real estate investments
* Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, underwriting, and risk assessment
* Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills; proficient in PowerPoint and Word
* Ability to clearly articulate investment theses in written and verbal form
* High attention to detail, strong judgment, and disciplined approach to risk
* Self‐starter who thrives in a lean, high‐performance environment
* Strong work ethic, deadline‐driven, and comfortable managing multiple transactions
