Apprentice Diesel Mechanic / Yard Hand (Civil Construction)
We are a civil construction company based around Beaudesert looking for a motivated Apprentice Diesel Mechanic / Yard Hand to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to start a career in the civil industry while gaining hands-on mechanical experience. The role will involve a mix of workshop duties and general "run around" tasks to support day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with servicing and maintenance of civil machinery and equipment
• Support qualified mechanics with repairs and workshop tasks
• General yard duties including organising tools, equipment, and materials
• Pick up and deliver parts, tools, and supplies as required
• Assist with basic labouring and site support when needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
About You
• Genuine interest in becoming a diesel mechanic
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Driver's licence
• White Card (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work in a team and use initiative
