Payroll Officer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team, responsible for performing all facets of payroll across the business.
* Process weekly payroll
* Interpret and advise on employment conditions according to Industrial Instruments and company policies
* Liaise with Human Resources for personnel matters related to payroll
* Maintain employee leave entitlements
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years' experience in a similar role, knowledge of accounting and payroll principles, accurate data entry skills, and excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current NSW Driver's Licence
* Over 3 years' experience in payroll-related roles
* Knowledge of accounting and payroll principles
* Accurate data entry skills
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Additional Information:
* Assist in preparation of annual reconciliations (Payroll Tax, Workers Comp. Single Touch Payroll)
* Prepare monthly reports and payments; including payroll tax, superannuation, other deductions, Lost Time analysis, Workers Compensation Claims
* Maintain security and confidentiality of personal documents
