Library Services Assistant (Printing Services) page is loaded## Library Services Assistant (Printing Services)locations: St Lucia Campustime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-61691# **About This Opportunity**Due to a valued team member commencing a secondment, an exciting opportunity is now available for a motivated, energetic and organised Library Services Assistant to join our team and support teaching, learning and research across UQ!Reporting to the Senior Coordinator, Spaces and Site Services, you will play a key frontline role delivering high-quality client service to students and academics, while supporting the day-to-day operations of the library's public printing and copying services.This position is central to creating a positive client experience and ensuring our Library spaces and services operate smoothly and efficiently, while contributing to continuous improvement across systems and processes.*Key Responsibilities will include:** Deliver high-quality frontline support for printing and copying services, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and managing student printing accounts and refunds* Support the smooth operation of Library spaces by identifying maintenance issues, coordinating workflows, and assisting colleagues as required* Contribute to continuous improvement, documentation, reporting, and broader Library service delivery across sites as neededThis is a full-time, fixed term/secondment position until **21/08/26** at HEW Level 4.# **About You*** A relevant diploma with associated work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience* Proven experience in service delivery and contributing to service improvement initiatives* Strong digital capability, with familiarity using systems such as library management platforms* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a consistent track record of delivering quality results* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders* A collaborative, inclusive mindset with strong self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team**Please note:*** Evening, weekend and/or rostered work may be required* The University of Queensland Library reserves the right to transfer staff across its services as neededAppointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, qualifications, criminal history checks.
