As a Grocery Department Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of our store's non-fresh products.
This includes ensuring that all aspects of the department are exceptionally presented, welcoming and engaging for customers, team members and the local community.
To achieve this, you will need to be an effective leader who can motivate and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering requirements.
You will also be responsible for implementing Coles' visual merchandising, safety, compliance and stock management standards throughout the department.
Additionally, you will play a key role in driving a customer-obsessed culture within the store, seeking to continually better understand our diverse customers' needs and preferences.
Furthermore, you will be expected to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all team members, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
