The Role
This is a career opportunity for an Adviser or Senior Associate who is ready to take the next step. You will work closely with Principal Advisers on complex, multi-generational client strategies, while also building the capability to manage your own portfolio within two to three years.
From day one you will be exposed to high level client interactions, strategic planning and portfolio oversight, with mentoring and training designed to accelerate your development.
What You Will Do
* Build strong, trusted client relationships, supporting Principal Advisers with high net worth and family office clients
* Take an active role in client meetings, including presenting sections of reviews
* Prepare and review Statements of Advice, Records of Advice, reports, cash flow models and investment analysis
* Assist with implementing advice and overseeing trades and portfolio monitoring
* Guide and delegate to Associates and Client Service Administrators
* Contribute to internal committees and support continuous improvement across the firm
What You Will Bring
* At least five years' experience in wealth management or financial advice with high net worth clients
* Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related discipline
* FASEA exam and professional year completed, RG146 compliant
* Strong technical knowledge of tax, structures, estate and succession planning
* Proven ability to prepare and review complex advice documents
* Developed understanding of investment markets and evidence-based investing
* Excellent communication skills and a professional, mature presence
* Organisational strength, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities
