Position Overview
Service Stream's Energy division are currently seeking Supervisors to join our growing company. The role is based in the Darling Downs region and will be required for the duration of the outage, commencing early-August until project close‐out expected to be early to mid‐November. These positions are site‐based roles.
Location & Duration
Primary location: QLD - Fortitude Valley - Kingsgate. Operating location: Darling Downs.
Nature of position: Casual. Reporting line: Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervision and support of blue‐collar multi‐disciplined work groups
* Supervision of multi‐disciplined work groups for the execution of work packages in accordance with the approved schedule and scope
* Ensuring compliance with customer hold, witness point and facilitating inspections
* Maintaining accurate and timely QA documentation
* Leading toolbox talks, risk assessments, and adherence to customer fatigue management plan
* Liaising with other work groups, sub‐contractors and client representatives
* Attendance of daily scope progress meetings with customer's key personnel including asset engineers and work area coordinators
* Collaborating with planning and scheduling teams to provide daily progress tracking
* Supporting change management processes
About You
* Experienced Supervisor of multi‐disciplined teams with a genuine concern for safety
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with outage, turnaround or shutdown, preferably in a coal‐fired power station
* Demonstrated supervisory experience in a coal‐fired power station
* Trade qualified is preferred but not essential
* Experienced in one or more of the following areas of plant: Burners, Boiler / Pressure Parts, Balance of Plant, Magaldi, Critical Path, Stores & Logistics
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
