About the Role
Brunel, in partnership with a leading provider of digital mining technology solutions, offers exceptional opportunities for ICT & Technical professionals in Australia. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and servicing Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) technology on mining vehicles at national and international sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission, maintain, and service CAS technology on mining vehicles
* Act as onsite representative, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with EHS standards
* Conduct site audits and prepare documentation
* Deliver training on CAS systems and provide troubleshooting and maintenance support
This role requires travel flexibility and is suitable for motivated individuals eager to develop technical skills in the mining technology sector.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an early-career technician with mining site experience or an auto electrician transitioning into mining. Relevant background includes LV/HV auto-electrical work, basic networking (LAN/WAN), or equipment installation.
Certifications like Post-trade electrical or electronic qualifications and a Working at Heights ticket are advantageous. The candidate should have high attention to detail, a strong work ethic, flexibility, good communication skills, and willingness to travel extensively.
