What you'll be making
* Caramel slice and baked slice ranges
* Wheat‐free products (strict allergen control and cross‐contamination awareness required)
* Carrot cake and loaf‐style cakes
Key Responsibilities
* Producing slices and cakes to set recipes, weights, and specifications
* Scaling and mixing batches, tray bake production, baking and finishing
* Cutting/portioning accurately and packing for wholesale orders
* Working to daily production schedules and deadlines
* Working 5am-1pm daily shifts as part of our early start schedule
* Maintaining excellent hygiene, food safety, and allergen procedures
* Keeping your section clean, organised, and production‐ready
What we're looking for
* Experience in wholesale cake/slice production or commercial bakery manufacturing
* Minimum 1-2 years of wholesale cake/slice production or commercial bakery manufacturing experience
* Confidence with tray bakes, slices, loaves, and cake lines
* Strong understanding of wheat‐free / allergen‐controlled production (or willingness to learn and follow strict process)
* Reliable attendance, good time management, and attention to detail
* Able to work on your feet and handle repetitive production tasks
* Must have Australian work rights
Qualifications are welcome but not essential — experience, consistency, and reliability matter most.
